Fine Wood Turnings
Bill Loitz started woodworking at a young age, with simple wood projects and even a few turned projects in middle school. While in middle school and high school his family built a house from the ground up. In the early 70’s he built the interior of a 32-foot sailboat out of Koa wood. His interest in woodturning reemerged in 2000 when he got his first “real” lathe. Since that time he has taken numerous classes from professional turners and wood workers. Turning and decorating wood art is becoming his passion since he has retired from the business world. He is currently the President of the Glendale Woodturners Guild in Southern California and a member of the Americian Association of Woodturners.
